John de Beixedon, MD
John de Beixedon, MD is a board-certified internal medicine physician who has been in private practice in Pasadena since 1998.
In 1988, he was granted his MD degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. Then, Dr. de Beixedon completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia. Specializing in diabetes and more recently, bariatrics, Dr. de Beixedon has a concierge style medical practice, offering his patients attentive, accessible care.
Since 2008, Dr. de Beixedon has served as a medical adviser for ABC News and has appeared on both local and national news broadcasts.
Marilynn has volunteered and worked in the field of substance abuse and Co-occurring disorders for 17 years. She dedicated her life to working with people she identifies with because she has maintained sobriety for 18 years. Marilynn continues her education regularly to ensure she can provide services for those in recovery to assist clients in obtaining long-term sobriety. She has degrees in human science, is a Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor certified by CCAPP, obtained certification through GORSKI-CENAPS corporation as a Certified Relapse Prevention Specialist and is accredited by CCAPP as an International and California Certified Prevention Specialist. Marilynn’s goal is to continue to help those who want to help themselves become healthy productive individuals in society.
Ms. Kristine McCarthy has 25 years of experience providing educational and counseling services. She received her Bachelors of Arts in English and Psychology from Occidental College in 1992 and continued her education at Pepperdine University where she graduated with her Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology in 1994. In 2008 she received her Clear Teaching Credential in English from UC Irvine.
