About Us

A letter from Judith Wilson Owner & CEO

Judith Wilson, a psychology and business administration major at Santa Monica City College, received her B.S. in Human Services from Alameda University, followed by a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the same institution shortly thereafter.

Ms. Wilson began her career as an administrator at Recovery & Beyond, where she was responsible for the oversight of the chemical dependency outpatient program, patient counseling, life skills education, and support group facilitation. The facility followed an intensive 12-step holistic treatment that Ms. Wilson implemented during her tenure.

Always with a heart for serving those in need, Ms. Wilson founded the H. Jackson Center, which assisted women in recovery from alcohol and drug abuse as they transitioned back into society. The center provided professional clothing, resume assistance, help with interview skills and counselling to help women re-enter the working world.

In 1999, Ms. Wilson joined the Eaton Canyon Foundation as a board member, and was subsequently voted in as Executive Director two year later. Currently, she serves as Board Chairman, a position she has held since 2011.

Her career with Eaton Canyon Treatment Center (ECTC) began in an administrative role in 2001, but her knowledge and leadership skills advanced her over the years, culminating with being named as CEO in 2011 as she took over ownership of ECTC.

At ECTC, Ms. Wilson has put together top treatment teams of highly qualified professionals. These teams – comprised of licensed therapists, psychologists, nurses, certified relapse prevention counselors, spiritual advisors and other relevant professionals – provide ongoing therapeutic education and support in an effort to sustain long-term sobriety.

In the community, Ms. Wilson spearheads the foundation’s annual toy drive for youth in underserved local communities, provides holiday meals for the underprivileged and serves in an advisory capacity on other community boards and organizations.

Our Vision
Eaton Canyon treats the whole individual – body, mind and spirit – while providing clients with individualized treatment plans to meet their individual needs, concerns and choices. This is accomplished by treating the underlying core issues that contribute to addictive patterns, inner discord and other disorders.

“With our staff of compassionate professionals, our mission is to save the lives of those suffering from addiction, who are spiritually bankrupt, and provide them with the tools of sobriety to achieve lifelong recovery.” – Judith Wilson
